Eatwell plate? Who says – the Food Industry!

Posted in Uncategorized at 9:06 am by aleksan

At first sight the Eatwell plate looks innocent enough until you look into it, and realise that real food is not the priority and it includes a large proportion of unhealthy processed foods – not surprising because it has been produced by the food industry which some reason Public Health has hired to do the job for it! There should be less carbs, less if any fruit juice and more eggs, cheese, fisk, lean meat, milk and greens. It is vested interest eg Fake Food merchants and the like that dictate the odds these days. Health can not be trusted to these sugar suppliers. The old adage still applies “Cave Emptor” – Beware the Buyer. Only common sense and education will help here. Do not trust the Government to look after your interests – they back big money and ignorant populist policies.

New Eatwell Guide says a healthy diet should now include more fruit, vegetables and starchy carbohydrates, and fewer sugary foods and drinks.
